Role of a Training and Placement Officer

• To prepare students for the job market by developing their technical, soft, and employability skills.
• To connect with industry leaders, HR heads, Alumni and recruiters for placement opportunities.
• To organize campus drives, internships, industrial visits, and workshops.
• To guide students in career choices, higher studies, and competitive exams.
• To maintain records of placement statistics and continuously improve the institute’s placement performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Training & Development
• Conduct aptitude tests, GDs, and mock interviews.
• Arrange training sessions on communication, resume building, and workplace etiquette.
• Industry Interaction
• Build strong relationships with corporate organizations.
• Invite industry professionals for guest lectures and seminars.
• Placement Drives
• Coordinate campus recruitment and internship opportunities.
• Ensure smooth interaction between recruiters and students.
• Career Guidance
• Advise students on career paths (jobs, entrepreneurship, higher education).
• Motivate students to align their skills with industry requirements.
