Position- Training and Placement Officer(TPO)

Role & Responsibilities:

Industry Outreach & Placement Conversion

• Identify, engage, and convert top-tier companies offering competitive salary packages for campus placements.

Placement Accountability

• Take complete ownership of achieving

  100% placement outcomes

  for eligible students.

Placement & Internship Management

• Plan, organize, and execute internship and placement activities across on-campus, off-campus, and virtual modes for SSPU students.

Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain continuous communication with students, faculty, and school heads regarding internship and placement updates.
• Organize pre-placement training sessions to enhance student readiness.

Corporate Relationship Building

• Build and sustain strong relationships with current and prospective recruiters, industry partners, and corporate HR teams.

Event Coordination

• Coordinate job fairs, HR meets, corporate visits, and related events to strengthen placement opportunities.
• Ensure achievement of 100% internship and placement targets.

Student Motivation & Counselling

• Regularly motivate and guide students to participate in campus recruitment drives.
• Provide counselling support to students and parents on placement-related queries.

Database & Social Media Management

• Maintain and update student and recruiter databases relevant to placements.
• Publish placement achievements and success stories on social media and the institution’s website.

Documentation & Accreditation Support

• Maintain comprehensive hard-copy and digital records such as internship letters, offer letters, company feedback, and other documents required for NIRF, NAAC, and other accreditation processes.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director – Placements aimed at enhancing SSPU’s brand and strengthening placement outcomes.
