Job Description

Position: Trainer Location: Mumbai MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Frequent travel throughout the month Job Summary: Responsible for developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of retail staff, aiming to improve customer service, sales performance, and product knowledge across the clinic chains. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create comprehensive training modules tailored to the needs of different teams. This includes designing curriculum, structuring learning materials, delivering sessions effectively and ensuring the training aligns with organizational goals. Regular updates should be made to keep content relevant and impactful. 2. Training Needs Assessment: Identify skill gaps and performance gaps through data analysis, feedback, assessments and discussions with key stakeholders. Based on the findings, prioritize training areas and customize programs to address those gaps. This ensures that the training provided is not generic but targeted and meaningful. 3. Performance Measurement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training through assessments, performance reports, feedback forms and on-the-job results. Track improvement in skills, adherence, productivity, or quality metrics. Use these insights to refine future training programs and ensure continuous improvement. 4. Healthcare Training (Preferred but Not Mandatory): Experience in healthcare training is an added advantage since it involves understanding medical terminology, customer handling, and treatment-process knowledge. However, it is not mandatory, candidates without healthcare experience can still excel with strong training skills, adaptability and willingness to learn industry-specific concepts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Certification in Training & Development is a plus. Experience: Overall 3-4 years of experience in the retail industry with 2+ years of experience in training. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, public speaking, presentation skills, people management and adaptability. Conducting Training Sessions: Leading in-person or virtual training sessions to teach employees about product details, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Assessing Employee Performance: Evaluating the effectiveness of training by observing employees on the floor, conducting assessments, and gathering feedback. Updating Training Content: Continuously updating training materials to reflect new products. Providing Support and Mentorship: Offering guidance to retail staff to help them overcome challenges and enhance their professional growth.
