Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver soft skills training programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess training needs and develop training solutions to address gaps.
  • Facilitate training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to develop training programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in soft skills training.
  • Customize training programs to meet the needs of specific departments or teams.
  • Provide coaching and support to learners to help them apply new skills on the job.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization to promote the value of soft skills training.
  • Use technology and learning tools to deliver training in both in-person and
  • virtual environments.
  • Provide feedback to student learners to help them improve their performance.
  • Create and administer assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Develop and maintain training records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve training programs based on learner feedback and evaluation data.


Candidate’s Profile :

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a soft skills trainer or in a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, Instructional design skills, Time management and organizational skills, Technical skills, Subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning tools and technology.
  • Experience in managing training logistics and records.
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their soft skills and achieve their professional goals.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Empathy and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing training needs and environments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality training programs.


Required Skills & Core Competencies include :

  • Strong communication skills:

    As a Soft Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training programs, facilitating group discussions, and providing feedback to student learners. Therefore, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information effectively.
  • Instructional design skills:

    You must have a thorough understanding of student learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop effective training programs that meet the needs of the learners.
  • Interpersonal skills:

    You must have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with learners, stakeholders, and other trainers. You must be able to create a comfortable and safe learning environment that promotes open communication and active participation.
  • Time management and organizational skills:

    You must be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver training programs on time. You must also have strong organizational skills to manage training logistics, records, and materials.
  • Technical skills:

    You must be proficient in using learning tools and technology to deliver online training programs and manage training records.
  • Subject matter expertise:

    You must have a strong understanding of the soft skills you will be training, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and time management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability:

    You must be flexible and adaptable to changing training needs and environments. You must be able to adjust your training methods and materials to meet the needs of different learners and situations.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn:

    You must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve your skills as a Soft Skills Trainer. You must be open to feedback and be committed to your own professional development.
