Trade Marketing Manager

As a Category Trade Marketing Manager (National role) for an FMCG client based in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and implementation of Below-The-Line (BTL) Strategy for the category across various regions and channels in alignment with the company's overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and control the annual, quarterly, and monthly spends for the category, being responsible for the entire BTL strategy. - Design monthly category activations and ensure their execution through regional counterparts. - Deliver category Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives including top-line growth, BTL percentage, and distribution objectives. - Take ownership of all trade programs assigned and new projects throughout the year. Internal and External Interactions: - Interact extensively with internal and external partners to execute category and brand mandates. - Collaborate with regional heads, Zonal Sales Managers, and brand teams internally. - Coordinate closely with finance, IT, and PSO teams to plan and achieve category objectives. - Engage externally with service vendors and various agencies such as printers, design agencies, BT agencies, AC Nielsen, and IMRB to ensure flawless execution of trade marketing initiatives. Qualification Required: - MBA from a Premier B-School (2015/2016/2017/2018 pass-outs). - At least 4-5 years of overall work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Sales Management role at the Area/Zone level. - Proactive, result-oriented, takes initiative, and takes ownership of work. - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
