Job Title: Executive Trade Marketing (TM)

Job Grade:

Karnataka (Bangalore)

UP (Noida/Delhi)

Delhi

Job Summary

The Executive Trade Marketing will be responsible for planning and executing trade marketing initiatives to drive product demand and sales across distributor and retail channels. The role focuses on improving brand visibility, executing promotions, supporting sales teams, and ensuring effective in-store execution in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Marketing Planning

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to improve sales performance and market share
  • Plan channel-wise trade marketing activities aligned with business objectives
  • Prepare annual and monthly trade marketing calendars and promotional plans

2. Promotional Activities

  • Design and implement trade schemes, promotions, and retailer offers
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely and effective execution at retail outlets
  • Track and evaluate promotion effectiveness and ROI

3. Merchandising & Visibility

  • Ensure strong brand visibility through POS materials and in-store branding
  • Manage planograms, display units, signage, and visual merchandising
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution quality and competitor activities

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, product launches, and merchandising
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare reports and insights for management review

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Brand, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, printers, and merchandising partners
  • Support sales teams with POS materials, tools, training inputs, and communication

6. Budget Management

  • Plan and manage trade marketing budgets effectively
  • Ensure cost-efficient execution of trade marketing activities

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Trade Marketing

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Retail industry
  • Strong understanding of shopper behavior and retail merchandising
  • Hands-on experience in trade promotions and channel marketing
  • Experience in the same or similar industry will be preferred
  • Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills
