Job Summary

• Comprehensive Testing : Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases for various components, including front-end UIs, responsive layouts, and interactions, as well as Power BI reports and dashboards.
• ETL/Data Pipeline Testing : Ensure the quality of data pipelines built using Azure Data Factory (ADF). Perform end-to-end data validation and reconciliation, comparing source vs. transformed vs. target data for correctness, completeness, and accuracy. This includes validating schema, metadata, data types, null-handling, and referential integrity.
• System & API Integration Testing : Analyze functional specifications and data flow diagrams to identify critical integration points. Execute integration tests across multiple applications and systems to verify correct interaction and data flow. Test pipelines for error handling, edge cases, retries, and timeouts.
• Functional & Regression Testing : Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and UI testing across various browsers and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Requirements Analysis : Review business rules, requirements, and user stories to fully understand expected behavior and identify all testable scenarios.
• Performance Testing : Test the performance of dashboards and reports, focusing on load times, rendering speed, refresh times, and interactivity responsiveness.
• Defect Management : Log, track, and manage defects in a defect tracking system. You will be responsible for following through on fixes and re-testing to ensure resolution.
• Collaboration & Reporting : Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers. Report on key quality metrics such as test coverage, defect counts, and test execution progress. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
• Significant experience in data pipeline / ETL / ELT testing, with specific expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Proven experience in integration testing of systems, APIs, and service interfaces.
• Experience with web front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
• Strong knowledge of Power BI (Desktop, Service), including working with DAX, data models, and visualizations.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain defects and collaborate effectively with a diverse team
