Job Description

Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Pune, India

Work Setup: 5 Days On-site (Monday to Friday)

Experience Required: 2 to 4 Years

Shift Timing: 11 AM to 8 PM

Department: Technical Team

Compensation: As per market standards

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Maintain and update test documentation and test environments.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Support UAT and client-side testing when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Good knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
Exposure to API testing and automation frameworks.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based testing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
ISTQB or similar certification is an advantage.
