Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth by strategically planning and executing sales of industrial cooling products like Cooling Towers, HVLS Fans, and Industrial Coolers in your designated geographic region. This involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through both channel partners and direct sales. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the assigned region. - Develop and implement a territory sales strategy. - Identify key target sectors such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics hubs, and commercial buildings. - Generate new leads through industrial visits, cold calls, exhibitions, and networking. - Expand the dealer/distributor network to enhance product reach and penetration. - Develop long-term relationships with OEMs, consultants, EPC contractors, and decision-makers. - Conduct technical/product presentations and site demonstrations. - Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales coordination for installation & commissioning. - Address customer concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. - Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and product developments. - Identify trends and feedback from the market to guide product and pricing strategy. - Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in CRM. - Prepare and submit sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in industrial product sales; exposure to HVAC/R, cooling towers, ventilation, or mechanical systems preferred. - Strong technical acumen to understand product specifications and applications. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
