BE or BTech or MTechSummary: We are seeking an accomplished Simulation Architect with deep expertise in designing and deploying advanced industrial simulation systems for both brownfield and greenfield environments. This role will lead to large-scale simulation initiatives across process and discrete manufacturing & warehouse, leveraging AI-led, Agentic, and data-integrated simulations to drive performance, layout, capacity, and throughput optimization. The candidate will bring hands-on experience in leading platforms including Siemens Technomatix, DELMIA, FlexSim, and AnyLogic, and will have a proven record in integrating simulation models with real-time operational data, 3D twins, and AR/VR for immersive collaboration. The candidate will be a trusted advisor to CTOs and senior client stakeholders on simulation-led transformation journeys. Roles & Responsibilities: Architect, design, and deliver simulation solutions across manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial systems. Lead simulation for both greenfield setups and brownfield optimizations, focusing on:
- Process optimization and throughput modeling
- Discrete event and agent-based simulation
- Virtual commissioning and real-time scenario planning Develop and integrate Operations Twins by linking simulation platforms with live plant/factory/warehouse data sources. Deliver end-to-end solutions for layout planning, capacity analysis, and performance optimization. Collaborate with industrial designers, data engineers, and AI specialists to embed agentic and ML/AI techniques into simulation models. Guide AR/VR-enabled visualization for collaborative engineering reviews and digital twin experiences. Standardize reusable simulation modules, libraries, and automation workflows to scale across industries and geographies. Ensure integration with MES/ERP systems, IoT platforms, and enterprise data lakes for continuous operational insights. Act as a trusted advisor to CTOs and senior client stakeholders on simulation-led transformation journeys. Design and define end-to-end simulation strategies tailored to client needs across industries and operational landscapes. Develop scalable simulation reference architectures that integrate with Digital Twin platforms, Edge/Cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML ecosystems. Lead the formulation of simulation-related Points of View (PoVs), thought leadership, and innovation frameworks to drive early origination. Establish best practices, maturity models, and adoption roadmaps for industrial simulation at enterprise scale. Drive the creation of reusable templates, capability frameworks, and simulation centers of excellence across global delivery teams. Influence roadmap decisions for digital manufacturing, intelligent operations, and autonomous systems through simulation-driven foresight. Professional and Technical Skills: Must have Skills: Proven expertise in leading simulation tools such as Siemens Technomatix Plant Simulation, DELMIA, AnyLogic, FlexSim, or equivalent. Hands-on in simulation development, debugging, and integration with PLC logic, SCADA, or control models. Experience with industrial digital twin ecosystems including NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity, and AR/VR solutions. Strong knowledge of production line balancing, warehouse slotting/logistics simulation, and robotic path optimization. Understanding of AI/ML and agent-based decisioning models integrated with simulation environments. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, VBScript) and API-based integration methods. Experience in deploying and scaling simulation solutions across Automotive, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, and High-Tech industries. Experience in large transformation engagements with factory network planning, warehouse redesign, or process reengineering. Ability to manage stakeholder communication across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions. Strong architectural thinking with ability to define simulation governance frameworks, center of excellence, and reuse accelerators. Contributed R&D or innovation in simulation practices and integration with AI-based prescriptive decision systems. C-suite advisor & storyteller with outcome-first mindset. Good to have skills: Certifications in simulation tools (e.g., Siemens Tecnomatix Certified, AnyLogic Expert Level). Exposure to Industry 4.0 frameworks, ISA-95 architecture, and Smart Manufacturing standards. Deep domain understanding in at least one vertical industry such as CPG, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Life Sciences, or Aerospace. Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with CXOs, plant heads, and product teams. Architectural authority balancing speed, safety, and scale. Change leader who can operationalize simulation on real shop floors. Additional Info: Bachelor’s or master's in industrial engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
