About The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to own the creation and maintenance of user-centric documentation for our SaaS platform. This role involves creating a wide range of materials, including user manuals, internal SOPs, training guides, API workflows, and integration documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS workflows, excellent command of English, and the ability to make complex features easy to understand and adopt. Key Responsibilities Documentation Creation and Maintenance Draft, maintain, and edit user-centric help documentation, including help manuals, how-to guides, FAQs, and in-app support materials. Develop and manage internal SOPs, process flows, and onboarding/training content. Create and update content for release notes and product updates. Developer and User-Focused Content Document third-party integrations and API workflows. Structure content to suit the needs of end-user roles and journeys, including Admins and general users. Produce developer-friendly documentation for APIs and SDKs, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts Collaborate closely with product, tech, and customer success teams to gather inputs. Conduct research and interviews to ensure content accuracy. Facilitate content reviews with SMEs to validate technical details. Content Quality and Standards Uphold high-quality standards in documentation, focusing on clarity, consistency, and usability. Maintain version control and ensure documents are up-to-date with product changes. Ensure all documentation aligns with brand tone and overall content strategy. Content Strategy and Project Leadership Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and tools. Lead documentation projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align efforts with product releases. Qualifications And SkillsEducational Background Bachelor’s degree in English, technical writing, computer science, or a related field. Technical Experience 4–5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS or B2B Tech environments. Proven experience writing user and developer documentation, including APIs and SDKs. Familiarity with SaaS workflows, platform architecture, and user interfaces. Tools and Technologies Proficiency in tools such as Markdown, DITA, Confluence, or similar. Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI. Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages such as Java. Soft Skills Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to engaging with SMEs. Preferred Experience creating content for release notes and software lifecycle documentation.
