Role Description

We are seeking a

Technical Scrum Master with strong front-end development skills

to guide our Agile software teams while actively contributing to UI development. This hybrid role combines servant-leadership and technical expertise—facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-centric digital experiences. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to bridge communication, remove blockers, and contribute directly to building modern, responsive web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a servant-leader and coach, guiding Agile best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Serve as the link between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clarity of goals and deliverables.
  • Track and improve team performance, predictability, and velocity using Agile metrics and reporting tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Identify, address, and escalate project risks and blockers promptly.
  • Contribute hands-on to UI development, working with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, maintainability, and performance standards.
  • Stay current with UI frameworks, Agile methodologies, and emerging trends to continuously improve team practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in software development, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Proven hands-on experience in front-end development with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and responsive design principles.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and scaling practices.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certifications: CSM, SSM, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in product-based technology organizations.
  • Exposure to backend integration or full-stack development.
  • Experience with Agile transformation or scaling Agile practices.
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and web performance optimization.
