The Role

In Project Management , you will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers’ IT infrastructure. You'll be the mastermind behind maintaining and optimizing their systems, ensuring they're always running at peak performance. You will interact with the Account team and Customer, understanding Japanese work culture will be an added advantage.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership:
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, including scope, cost, schedule, and contractual commitments.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication plans with stakeholders and clients.
• Cloud & Technical Expertise:
  • Manage projects involving cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security, resiliency, and operational standards.
• Operational Management:
  • Oversee project operations, resource allocation, vendor management, and risk mitigation.
  • Implement best practices for service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Cross-Cultural Collaboration:
  • Engage with Japanese clients and teams, ensuring cultural alignment and language fluency in all communications.
  • Support governance and reporting tailored to Japanese business practices.

• Create and test the implementation plans (check execution results).

• You'll be the mastermind behind maintaining and optimizing their systems, ensuring they're always running at peak performance.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure delivered solutions are realized in committed time frame and meet client expectation
• Establish a quality management system: tracking of project milestones, quality and KPIs
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• You will interact with the Account team and Customer, so you are expected to be fluent in your domain.
• Not only will you be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, but you'll also can work on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions that will shape the future of the industry.
• You'll be at the forefront of new service preparation and changing management processes, constantly learning and growing your technical expertise to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.
• Your technical skills will be put to the test as you troubleshoot critical customer situations and provide timely solutions to keep their systems secure, reliable, and efficient.
• You'll be the go-to expert for sizing and optimizing systems, ensuring our customers' business performance is always world-class.

Required Professional Experience

• Proven experience in Project Management at a senior level

• Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) .

• Strong understanding of IT operations , risk management , and change control processes .

• Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) with familiarity in Japanese work culture.

• Excellent stakeholder management , leadership skills , and ability to manage cross-functional teams across geographies.

• Experience in incident, problem, and change management .

• Strong technical aptitude with solid understanding of IT environments.

• Ability to manage daily BAU priorities across L1, L2, and L3 activities.

• Experience working in live project environments with the ability to understand customer requirements on the go.

• Ability to create work plans , coordinate tasks, draft/review procedures, investigate issues, and execute change implementations.

• Capability to create and test implementation plans , including validating execution results.

• Effective communication with stakeholders in Japan and India .
  

  Preferred Professional Experience

• Experience in disaster recovery planning , automation , and hybrid cloud operations .

• Previous involvement in multi-functional team environments supporting global operations.
