Job Description

Role: Technical Project Manager

Location: Surat


Role Summary

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to work closely with the CTO and lead coordination across ERPNext custom development, internal portals, mobile app development, and Shopify-based eCommerce systems. The TPM will be responsible for requirement gathering, planning, documentation, sprint management, developer follow-ups, quality checks, and ensuring timely delivery of internal technology initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

A.   Project & Delivery Management

·      Define project scope, milestones, and delivery timelines

·      Break down requirements into actionable tasks

·      Maintain project boards (Jira, ERPNext Project module)

·      Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly sprint planning

·      Manage change requests and impact analysis

·      Track developer productivity and remove blockers

·      Ensure timely completion of ERPNext customizations, APIs, and portal features

B.   Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Coordination

·      Collect requirements from internal teams (operations, warehouse, customer support, marketing,

finance, etc.)

·      Conduct workshops and structured discussions

·      Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications

·      Validate feasibility and priorities

·      Communicate updates clearly to stakeholders

C.   Technical Understanding

·      (Not coding, but enough technical depth)

·      Good understanding of ERPNext/bench, DocTypes, workflows, roles/permissions

·      Knowledge of REST APIs, integrations, database basics

·      Familiarity with mobile app lifecycle, portals, Shopify ecosystem

·      Ability to evaluate developer estimations

·      Ability to do basic testing, validate flows, and report issues

D.   Documentation & Process

·      Maintain PRD (Product Requirements Document), FRS, SRS

·      Maintain change logs & version notes

·      Create SOPs for internal users

·      Document tech processes for long-term team scalability

·      Maintain data flow diagrams & architecture notes

E.   Quality Control

·      UAT coordination (User Acceptance Testing)

·      Verify features before deployment

·      Ensure proper testing cycles

·      Maintain bug/enhancement backlog


Skills & Qualifications

A.   Must Have

·      2–5 year's experience in IT project management or product management

·      Experience working with ERPNext or other ERPs (Odoo, Zoho, etc)

·      Strong understanding of software development lifecycle

·      Experience coordinating with dev teams

·      Strong documentation skills

·      Good communication (English and Hindi) & stakeholder management

B.   Good to Have

·      Basic understanding of Python/JS (non-coding, but conceptual)

·      Experience with Shopify, API integrations

·      Worked with mobile app development teams

·      Background in health-tech, eCommerce, or operations-heavy org
