Job Description

100% Remote – Contract Work – React Native iOS Mobile Application

We're seeking a part-time, freelance Technical Product/Project Manager to join our team. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

If you’re interested in this opportunity, please reach out. We’re a wellness livestream startup with a distributed Dev Team across the US, India, and Pakistan, and we're looking to fill this position immediately.

About Us

TAMMIRA® is a youth telemental health wellness and livestreaming platform supporting ages 10–22 with mental wellness, nurse-supported care, digital literacy, and wellness programs in partnership with schools. We are a mission-driven, early-stage startup building scalable technology to improve attendance, wellness, and positive mental health outcomes for young people.

We’re looking for a Technical Product/Project Manager (TPPM) who thrives at the intersection of business, engineering, and user needs — someone who can translate vision into execution, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and shape how our product evolves at scale.

Role Summary

This role connects the dots between users, engineering, design, nurses, and youth advisors. You will own roadmap prioritization, lead delivery execution, streamline workflows, and ensure every release delivers real user impact and measurable business results.

You will balance strategic product leadership with hands-on project execution — removing blockers, defining requirements, aligning teams, and making sure the telehealth app releases are on time, with quality.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Translate user insights, youth feedback, nurse workflows, product and school requirements into prioritized product direction.
  • Define platform features across mobile experiences, including UI/UX, dashboards, telehealth flows, HIPAA security, messaging, and livestream components.
  • Write clear specs, use cases, and acceptance criteria for engineering.

Program Execution & Delivery

  • Turn strategy into technical milestones, sprint plans, and delivery timelines.
  • Drive execution across engineering using Agile tools (Jira, GitHub), monitoring scope, risks, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Define & track KPIs (on-time delivery, feature adoption, retention, uptime).

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as the bridge between Engineering, Nurses, Youth Advisory Council, Youth Success, and Leadership — ensuring shared understanding of priorities.
  • Lead stakeholder communication and executive reporting — using data-driven updates linked to business outcomes (student attendance, user engagement, school adoption).

Workflow & Platform Optimization

  • Identify engineering & operational bottlenecks — improve retention, documentation, quality, and release workflow.
  • Implement scalable frameworks for estimation, capacity planning, dependency tracking.

User-Centric Outcomes

  • Conduct discovery: user interviews, analysis, youth and nurse feedback, analytics.
  • Validate product success against adoption rate, student retention, school satisfaction, or ROI impact.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in Technical Product Management or Technical Program Management in a software product environment.
  • Strong technical fluency — APIs, SDKs, basic SQL, AWS/cloud concepts, systems interoperability.
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and QA steps.
  • Proven track record managing Agile life cycles & working closely with engineering.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication — able to explain tech to business, and business to engineering.
  • Analytical mindset — ability to define KPIs, interpret usage trends, and drive decisions with evidence.
  • Bonus: livestreaming video experience, youth tech platforms, HIPAA/telehealth familiarity, Figma skills.
