We’re building a fast-growing AI-powered platform that processes massive amounts of data to deliver intelligent automation and personalized experiences. With hundreds of paying accounts and rapid expansion, we’re strengthening our engineering team and need a Product Owner to help drive execution and keep our development efforts organized and efficient.

The Role
We’re seeking a Technical Product Manager (Product Owner) to serve as the bridge between our visionary technical founder and our development team. You’ll manage the day-to-day execution of our product roadmap, combining product ownership, Scrum Master responsibilities, and team enablement. This role is key to translating high-level vision into actionable execution while ensuring our team delivers at speed and quality.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development process by implementing and running Scrum/Agile practices

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories and technical requirements

• Align development efforts with business goals and customer needs

• Coordinate the team, ensuring developers have direction and context for their work

• Monitor delivery progress, identify blockers, and oversee QA for product quality

• Translate product vision into actionable specs (with AI assistance)

• Track product performance and observability to guide improvements

• Create processes and systems to help developers leverage AI tools effectively

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in product ownership/product management (backlog management, user stories, shipping products)

• Strong technical literacy: able to communicate effectively with developers and understand constraints

• Skilled in building and running Scrum/Agile practices in a startup environment

• Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) in product development workflows

• Adaptable and resourceful in fast-paced, high-growth environments

• Collaborative mindset: focused on enabling the team and delivering customer value

• Genuine passion for building AI-powered tools and transforming industries

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/LLM-based products

• Technical background or CS degree

• Experience scaling development teams

• SaaS or B2B platform experience

Work Details

• Type: Full-time contractor

• Location: Remote

• Hours: Must have at least 5 hours overlap with CST business hours (9a–2p CST minimum; full 9a–5p CST overlap preferred)
