Technical Business Analyst

Position Summary:

The Technical Business Analyst will be a technical professional with experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and business performance. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and facilitating engineering handovers while working closely with design and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and technical analysis.
• Develop and document Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories to articulate business needs and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and user experience.
• Facilitate engineering handovers by bridging communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Participate in SDLC processes, including requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a technical focus and exposure to software development.
• Experience in writing PRDs, user stories, and working with design and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, or business analysis software (e.g., Tableau, Visio).
• Candidates with exposure to development environments or a strong grasp of coding logic and system design will be preferred.
