Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in setting up and conducting experiments. Collect, analyze, and document experimental data. Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols. Assist in preparing reports and maintaining detailed records of experiments and procedures.REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE: Sound knowledge of fundamental chemistry and physics principles. Hands-on experience (or strong academic familiarity) with laboratory instruments and technical tools. Basic understanding of data analysis and interpretation techniques. Awareness of laboratory health, safety, and environmental standards. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and maintenance.
  • Support data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks as required.
  • Monitor system performance and escalate issues to the technical team.
  • Help in preparing presentations, training materials, and technical guides.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in a technical support or assistant role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, basic networking, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with software installation, system updates, and basic IT protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with helpdesk systems or ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of database management and cloud platforms.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Certification in IT support or technical training is a plus.
