Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to manage and guide a team of equity advisors or sales executives in the stock market domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving team targets, improving productivity, mentoring team members, and ensuring top-notch advisory services to clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of equity advisors or sales professionals. Drive the team to achieve revenue and client acquisition targets through stock market advisory and sales. Ensure that each team member provides accurate and timely stock recommendations to clients. Conduct regular training sessions and updates on market trends, trading strategies, and financial products. Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients; support advisors in complex investment discussions. Stay up-to-date with market developments, economic indicators, and regulatory changes. Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, internal policies, and all applicable norms. Generate reports on team performance, sales funnels, and client engagement metrics for senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 1–6 years of experience in stock market sales/advisory, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, mutual funds, and other financial instruments. Certification in NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and NISM Series V-A (Mutual Funds) preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to motivate underperformers and maximize productivity of high performers. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Proficient in MS Excel, trading platforms (like ODIN, NOW, or NSE/BSE terminals), and CRM software. Client-centric approach with a track record of managing large portfolios or HNI clients. Strong sales and relationship management abilities.
