Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader – Sales to oversee and support our Business Development Executives (BDEs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, providing strategic and operational support, and conducting regular training and guidance sessions to ensure sales targets are met. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of Business Development Executives, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded.
• Provide day-to-day support to BDEs including lead management, closing strategies, and client follow-ups.
• Monitor individual and team KPIs and generate regular performance reports.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and market understanding.
• Offer hands-on coaching and guidance to improve productivity and motivation within the team.
• Act as a backup and support function for BDEs in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations when necessary.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans in collaboration with senior management.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies, sales procedures, and compliance standards.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
• Participate in hiring and on-boarding processes for new BDEs when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate sales teams.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, CRM systems, and lead management tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Results-driven with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
