Role Overview
As the Offshore Team Lead for Broadcast Ad Operations Traffic, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the offshore Traffic team, ensuring seamless coordination with the onshore team. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage workflows, uphold quality standards, and foster a collaborative team culture.
You will act as the primary liaison between offshore and onshore teams, ensuring alignment on goals, deadlines, and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in onboarding and mentoring offshore team members, driving performance, and implementing process improvements. Your ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and maintain high standards will be critical to the success of the offshore operations and its integration with the broader Foxtel Media team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the offshore team’s daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the onshore team, providing regular updates and escalating issues as needed.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and continuous development of offshore team members.
- Train all new entry-level coordinators.
Campaign & Workflow Management:
- Monitor and validate data input and campaign accuracy, ensuring revisions are actioned promptly to avoid legal or compliance breaches.
- Distribute workloads effectively, especially during leave periods or team transitions.
- Ensure offshore team adherence to STV broadcaster requirements, compliance standards, and internal KPIs.
Operational Excellence:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Support the onshore manager by providing performance feedback and contributing to workflow development.
- Maintain high standards of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Lead weekly check-ins and reporting sessions with the onshore team to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Represent the offshore team in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Resolution Management:
- Investigate issues thoroughly and propose effective solutions.
- Manage escalations with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.

Experience & Capability
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the advertising industry, preferably in ad operations or traffic management.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring teams, ideally in an offshore or remote context.
- Strong understanding of TV advertising and the broader media landscape.
- Experience working with broadcast ad systems, specifically Landmark experience highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and drive team performance.
