Job Description

As the Talent Development Partner, you will design and deliver impactful leadership development programs in collaboration with subject matter experts, talent development professionals, and instructional designers. By understanding the needs of the business and AHEADians, you’ll create initiatives that empower teams to perform at their best.As a people champion and data-driven change leader, you’ll oversee end-to-end program lifecycle for learning solutions within your defined area of the business. From needs assessment to facilitation and evaluation to identify gaps and design scalable solutions. You’ll manage multiple learning priorities within the business, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adapting to the evolving needs of AHEADians.

Responsibilities

  • Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a consultative learning partner with subject matter experts, including senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and learning enablement, to design and deliver leadership development solutions.
  • Learning Needs Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify leadership development gaps and opportunities within existing initiatives for your assigned areas of the business.
  • Translate business objectives and talent strategy into learning objectives and outcomes for AHEAD designed learning solutions.
  • Analyze new and existing learning materials and resources to determine their effectiveness and relevance.
  • Curriculum Design and Development:
  • Design and develop learner-centered engaging and interactive experiences for comprehensive development program(s), incorporating adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Create instructional content, such as instructor lead training, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments.
  • Develop learning materials that are accessible, inclusive, and cater to diverse learning preferences.
  • Facilitation:
  • Support new hire orientation sessions and professional development workshops, utilizing instructor-led and virtual-led training methods.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes skill acquisition and respects individual differences.
  • Articulate complex concepts with clarity and precision, adapt communication style to diverse audiences and contexts, and ask thought-provoking questions that stimulate critical thinking.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through evaluation methods, feedback, and insights from our business partners and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Project and Time Management:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle for leadership development initiatives, from conception to launch and evaluation.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks, design gaps, and operational challenges.
  • Operate in an agile, fast-paced environment throughout the development timeline, ensuring timely and client-ready deliverables.
  • Technology and Tools:
  • Identify and leverage GenAI tools to strategically accelerate outcomes.
  • Stay current on instructional design trends and emerging technologies.
  • Utilize facilitation technologies and platforms including virtual collaboration tools, interactive polling and feedback systems, digital whiteboards, and collaborative software.
  • Utilize authoring tools, multimedia software, and other learning technologies to create engaging and interactive learning content.
  • Partner with the Senior Learning Management Systems Administrator to deploy learning solutions in the Learning Management System.
  • Upload SCORM files, create training sessions in a virtual training calendar, and enter attendance records for participant course credit and program reporting.

Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education, or other equivalent that focuses on learning, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning and Development, including both instructional design and facilitation.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills to partner with key stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of facilitation methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, eLearning standards, and learning content development.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks.
  • Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends.
