Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers / stakeholders to understand open roles, job requirements, and hiring timelines.
  • Create or update job descriptions and specifications that clearly define roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies: posting on job boards, online portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, campus hiring, headhunting, etc.
  • Screen resumes/applications, assess candidates for skills, culture fit, and alignment with company values.
  • Coordinate interviews among candidates and hiring panels; follow up with feedback loop.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment (from requisition to offer acceptance) for assigned roles.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and talent pools for future needs.
  • Facilitate candidate experience: communication, scheduling, information, feedback.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications as required.
  • Negotiate and extend offers; partner with HR to ensure smooth onboarding (documentation, induction).
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, quality of hire, dropout rates.
  • Report on recruitment progress; identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives (job fairs, social media campaigns, content, events).
  • Stay up to date with best practices, labor laws, sourcing tools, and market trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruitment—often 2-5 years, depending on seniority and complexity of roles.
  • Proven ability in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing both active and passive candidates.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment software.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills, with ability to evaluate candidates for technical skills & cultural fit.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, especially when handling multiple roles at once.
  • Employer branding & sourcing skills: social media recruiting, networking, referrals, campus hiring etc.
  • Negotiation skills for offers.
