About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Contractor with a sharp eye for identifying top frontline customer care talent. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment and can consistently deliver high-quality customer care candidates who embody American Express’s service excellence standards.


About the Role

The ideal candidate is highly conversational, confident, and skilled at assessing communication quality—especially for roles supporting our U.S. customer base. Prior experience hiring for U.S.-based or U.S.-support customer care positions is essential.


Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and engage high-quality candidates for frontline customer care roles at AMEX.
  • Conduct conversational-style phone screens to assess speech clarity, communication skills, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Evaluate candidates for cultural fit, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and service orientation.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels (databases, social platforms, referrals, etc.) to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely follow-up and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Align closely with hiring managers and recruitment partners to understand role requirements and talent needs.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data within ATS and reporting tools.



Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, staffing, or recruitment—preferably within customer care or high-volume hiring.
  • Prior experience hiring U.S. customer service/frontline support roles is required.
  • Exceptional conversational communication skills; ability to assess candidate speech, clarity, tonality, and personality fit.
  • Strong sourcing skills with a knack for identifying standout talent quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Experience with ATS tools and recruitment platforms.
