As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining and managing various systems, servers, and networks to support the company's technology needs.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the organization's servers, networks, and systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications in a timely manner.

Implement security measures to protect the organization's data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.

Regularly update and patch systems to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest security and software enhancements.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to ensure proper security protocols are followed.

Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs.

Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related inquiries and issues.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and security.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.

Strong knowledge of operating systems.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and networking protocols.

Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management.

Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and end-users
