Supply Planner

Summary

The Supply Planner will be responsible for end-to-end planning of products manufactured at the Digwal site, including packaging materials, APIs, artwork changes, and finished goods. This role ensures smooth production planning, accurate inventory management, and timely product availability. The planner will manage the supply plans for designated value streams, working to achieve key performance metrics such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), optimal inventory levels, capacity utilization, and minimal obsolescence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production & Supply Planning

• Lead production planning, MRP execution, and WIP/finished goods inventory management for products manufactured at the Digwal site.
• Maintain order books and provide weekly revenue estimates.
• Collaborate with Regulatory and Procurement teams for managing artwork changes, product samples, and launch support.
• Work with Sales, Finance, and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Develop and communicate weekly/monthly packaging and shipping schedules.
• Participate in capacity planning to identify constraints or excess capacity.
• Manage and optimize packaging and dispatch schedules.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Procurement to maintain inventory norms for FG, RM, and PM.

Product Scheduling & Execution

• Schedule special product campaigns and manage execution.
• Use SAP to drive adoption and effectiveness of MRP.
• Address order execution issues in coordination with Sales Order Coordinators.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly packaging and dispatch plans.
• Create purchase requisitions, execute MRP, and ensure sufficient RM/PM inventory in collaboration with Procurement.
• Monitor and work to reduce order-to-delivery (OTD) times.

Inventory Management

• Maintain safety stock levels and meet inventory targets.
• Continuously improve inventory processes to reduce excess and ensure availability.
• Provide long-term visibility on critical, high-lead-time materials.
• Generate and analyze monthly inventory reports (RM/PM/FG).
• Manage site-level inventory dissolution and write-offs, particularly for printed packaging materials.

SAP, MRP & Master Data Management

• Ensure accuracy of master data and provide training for users.
• Manage and ensure smooth operation of MRP processes in SAP.
• Leverage systems such as GPS for process improvement, automation, and transparency.
• Maintain and update material master data in SAP and Gains.
• Measure and continuously improve MRP outputs.
• Strong understanding of SAP PP, SD, and MM modules.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Support new and ongoing supply chain process improvement initiatives.
• Provide management with reports including MIS, customer-specific SLAs, and strategic data.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to production and supply planning.
