Requirements & Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
- 8 to 10 years of experience in vendor development or supply chain roles, preferably in mobility, logistics, or car rental.
- Proven track record of building vendor networks and achieving cost savings at scale.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of EV fleet dynamics, especially in the sedan segment.
- Experience in cost benchmarking and pricing strategy.
- Proficiency in vendor lifecycle management tools and performance dashboards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Sourcing & Development
- Identify and onboard vendors with a strong presence in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, and Chennai.
- Prioritize vendors with owned fleet capacity, especially in the EV sedan segment.
- Ensure vendors offer rates below market benchmarks without compromising service quality.
- Build a pool of DCOs (Driver-Cum-Operators) for electric vehicles.
2. Vendor Evaluation & Empanelment
- Design and implement a standardized vendor sourcing, evaluation, and empanelment process.
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and assign ratings based on KPIs like uptime, vehicle quality, driver behavior, and compliance.
- Maintain a dynamic vendor database with performance history and pricing benchmarks.
3. Pricing & Cost Optimization
- Develop and refine pricing models that are competitive, scalable, and aligned with REGOs bid strategy.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure cost-neutral or cost-saving vendor partnerships.
- Continuously monitor market trends to negotiate better rates and improve margins.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely vehicle availability and service quality.
- Partner with Tech and Product teams to integrate vendor data into booking and tracking systems.
- Support bid management teams with vendor pricing and capacity inputs to win high-volume contracts.
