Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics. This role ensures timely availability of raw materials, efficient production scheduling, and on-time delivery of finished goods to customers, while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

· Procurement Management: Source raw materials and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective and quality procurement.

· Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to minimize shortages or excess inventory.

· Production Planning: Coordinate with manufacturing teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.

· Logistics & Distribution: Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods to distributors and customers.

· Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

· Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs without compromising quality.

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to FSSAI, GMP, and other regulatory standards in supply chain processes.

· Data Analysis: Use ERP/SCM tools to track performance metrics and prepare reports for management.

· Risk Management: Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions and maintain business continuity.


Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.

· Experience: 5–8 years in supply chain management (preferably in FMCG, Nutrition, or Manufacturing).

· Skills:

o Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

o Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

o Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

o Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
