🧾 Job Title: Structural Engineer/ Draughtsman/ Architect 📍 Location: [Gomti Lucknow] 🕒 Job Type: Full-Time 💼 Experience: 2–8 years in structural design and site support.) 📅 Joining: Immediate / Within 15–30 Days   🧑‍💼 About the Role: The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the stability, strength, and safety of all structural components in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This includes preparing design calculations, checking compliance with building codes, and coordinating with architects and site teams to ensure proper execution of structural designs.   ✅ Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Structural Design & Analysis Design structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, foundations, retaining walls, staircases, and steel structures. Perform load calculations (dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, etc.) as per IS Codes or other applicable standards (ACI, Eurocode). Carry out structural analysis using tools like STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar software. Prepare design calculation reports for submission and approvals. 2. Code Compliance Ensure designs comply with: IS Codes: IS 456 (RCC), IS 800 (Steel), IS 875 (Load), IS 1893 (Seismic), IS 13920 (Ductile detailing). Local building by-laws and safety regulations. Stay updated with latest codes and structural engineering practices. 3. Drawing & Documentation Provide structural drawings (general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, steel connection details). Review and approve shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and fabrication drawings. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for structural works. 4. Coordination Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and site engineers to integrate structural requirements into the overall design. Discuss design feasibility and cost implications with the project team. 5. Site Support Visit the site for inspection of reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting to ensure compliance with design. Resolve technical issues related to structural execution at the site. Certify structural stability and quality of construction work. 6. Quality & Safety Ensure structural integrity and safety for the entire life cycle of the building. Implement quality control measures during execution. 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain all structural design records, calculation sheets, and approval documents. Provide periodic reports to the project manager and client regarding structural status. ✅ Required Skills & Qualifications Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred). Experience: 2–8 years in structural design and site support. Software Skills: Analysis Tools: STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000. Drafting: AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit (preferred). Knowledge of IS Codes and international codes. Strong understanding of construction materials and practices. ✅ Key Attributes Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
