Job Title: Store Manager

Reports To: Area Manager / Regional Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the retail store, including sales, customer service, staff management, visual merchandising, inventory control, and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive a high-performance culture in line with the company’s brand standards and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive and achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Ensure excellent customer service and shopping experience.
• Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate actions for improvement.
• Implement sales promotions and in-store marketing initiatives.

2. Team Management

• Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
• Schedule and manage staff shifts to optimize coverage and productivity.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching/feedback.
• Foster a positive and motivated team environment.

3. Store Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling and banking procedures.

4. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock audits and manage inventory shrinkage.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/supply chain for timely stock deliveries.

5. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Track and analyze store performance metrics.
• Maintain records for audits and compliance purposes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and retail POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fashion, electronics, FMCG, or lifestyle retail (as relevant).
• Knowledge of visual merchandising and store layout principles.
• Familiarity with inventory management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
