Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive the store towards achieving

    monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets

    and

    turnover goals

    .
  • Analyze and manage

    Target vs Achievement

    reports to optimize performance.
  • Strategically increase

    ticket size

    and

    units per transaction (UPT)

    .
  • Monitor and improve

    non-conversion rates

    by implementing proactive customer engagement strategies.

Customer Relationship & Retention

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure a personalized and seamless customer experience.
  • Lead customer retention initiatives through loyalty programs, after-sales service, and customer delight strategies.

Data Management & Business Analysis

  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare actionable reports on sales, customer feedback, team performance, and market dynamics.
  • Implement and manage the

    Business Building Block Model

    for structured growth planning.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives and Customer Service Associates.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through training, motivation, and regular performance reviews.
  • Promote team synergy and align team goals with business objectives.

Business Growth & Profitability

  • Plan and implement business strategies to boost store profitability.
  • Ensure efficient stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Align store operations with organizational goals and brand standards.

Local Marketing & Brand Visibility

  • Plan and execute

    Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities

    like in-store events, tie-ups, community engagement, etc.
  • Increase footfall through local outreach initiatives and strategic promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to roll out seasonal campaigns and promotional offers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum

    4 years

    of experience in

    retail sales

    , preferably in

    jewellery, lifestyle, or luxury retail sectors

  • Strong

    sales acumen

    with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Excellent

    leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong grip on

    data analysis

    ,

    sales metrics

    , and

    CRM tools

  • Ability to take ownership of

    store performance

    and team success
  • Proficiency in

    local language (Bengali)

    along with

    Hindi & English

  • Willing to travel or relocate

    within West Bengal, especially to North Bengal locations

Preferred Qualification:

  • MBA or Postgraduate

    in Marketing, Retail Management, or Business Administration
  • Graduates

    with exceptional retail and sales experience may also apply
