Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a retail store, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. This role involves leading and motivating a team, maintaining exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed store goals.  Key responsibilities Leadership and staff management: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate store employees. Foster a positive and productive work environment and provide coaching and performance feedback. Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. Operations and administration: Oversee all day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures and cash handling. Manage store budgets and ensure financial records are maintained accurately. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and health and safety standards. Handle administrative duties and prepare regular performance reports. Sales and customer service: Drive sales performance and achieve all sales targets and KPIs. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively. Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic and sales. Inventory and merchandising: Manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and ensure timely replenishment of merchandise. Ensure all visual merchandising and display standards are met according to brand guidelines. Monitor and control inventory loss and shrinkage.  Qualifications and skills Proven experience in retail management or a similar role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of sales, inventory control, and visual merchandising principles. Familiarity with financial planning and P&L statements. Ability to analyze sales data and implement effective strategies.
