Store Manager

Job Title: Store Manager – Grocery StoreLocation: [Urkura, Jeevan Vihar, Mowa] Reports To: Area Manager / Regional Manager Job Description:The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the grocery store. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, optimizing sales and profitability, maintaining store standards, and ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Ensure proper merchandising, cleanliness, and organization of the store. Sales & Profitability: Drive store sales and meet/exceed monthly and annual targets. Monitor shrinkage, wastage, and implement cost-control measures. Analyze sales reports and identify areas for improvement. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. Promote customer loyalty programs and in-store promotions. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments. Qualifications:Proven experience in retail/grocery store management (2–5 years preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks Proficient in using POS systems and MS Office High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
