Statutory Compliance & Liaison Officer (Infrastructure / EPC)

Statutory Compliance & Liaison Officer

HO-based

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle & Transport Statutory Compliance

  • Manage complete documentation for company-owned and hired vehicles:
    • RC, Fitness Certificate, Insurance

    • PUC / Pollution Certificates

    • Road tax, permits, renewals
  • Coordination with

    RTO offices

    for:
    • New registrations
    • Transfers
    • Renewals & endorsements
  • Maintain

    vehicle compliance tracker & MIS

Plant, Machinery & Asset Documentation

  • Maintain documentation for:
    • Construction machinery
    • Equipment & assets
  • Asset registration, insurance & statutory records
  • Coordination with

    insurance companies & authorities

  • Support audits related to

    asset records & compliance

Land, Quarry & Permission-Related Compliance

  • Documentation & coordination for:
    • Land records
    • Lease deeds
    • Quarry / crusher permissions
    • Local authority approvals
  • Liaison with:
    • Revenue department
    • Local bodies
    • Mining / geology departments (where applicable)

Statutory & Regulatory Liaison

  • Liaison with:
    • RTO
    • Transport department
    • Local municipal bodies
    • Revenue authorities
    • Other statutory departments as required
  • Tracking renewals, validity, and compliance deadlines
  • Handling notices, clarifications & follow-ups with departments

Documentation, MIS & Compliance Tracking

  • Maintain

    centralised compliance registers

  • Ensure timely renewals & zero lapses
  • Prepare

    compliance MIS reports

    for management
  • Coordinate with Accounts, Mechanical & Project teams
  • Support

    internal & external audits

    with statutory documentation

Site Coordination & Travel

  • Visit project sites, RTO offices, and government departments as required
  • Coordinate with site teams for document collection & compliance closure
  • Support project-specific statutory requirements

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in

    statutory liaison & compliance

    in construction / EPC
  • Hands-on exposure to

    RTO, vehicle documentation & renewals

  • Understanding of

    plant, machinery & asset documentation

  • Familiarity with

    land records & permissions

  • Strong follow-up, coordination & documentation skills
  • Ability to deal confidently with

    government officials

  • Good MIS and tracking capability
  • Willingness to

    travel as required

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years experience in

    infrastructure / construction industry

  • Prior experience in

    liaison / statutory compliance roles

  • Practical, field-oriented and solution-focused
  • Strong local/regional statutory exposure preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate (any discipline)
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Administration (added advantage)
