Position Summary

As

State Head – Sales (Offline Expansion)

, you will lead business growth and sales operations across your state. You will own the P&L, build and scale teams, drive revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective strategy, leadership, and execution.This role demands strong business acumen, people management skills, and a proven record in driving high-volume B2C sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the P&L for the state, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and ROI targets.
  • Design and implement state-level sales and growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale large sales teams including Managers, Territory Leads, and Executives.
  • Drive high-volume B2C sales through both online and offline channels.
  • Identify new markets and expansion opportunities within the state.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and communities to enhance brand trust.
  • Oversee customer success and retention initiatives, reducing churn and improving satisfaction.
  • Ensure operational excellence, efficient cost management, and effective reporting systems.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture and groom future sales leaders within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in sales & business leadership, with at least 4–5 years in state/large-region management.
  • Proven P&L ownership and track record in achieving business goals.
  • Strong background in B2C sales, preferably in EdTech, BFSI, FMCG, or Telecom.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
