Staff Product Operations Manager
plays a pivotal role in driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence across product teams. This role combines program management, strategic planning, and product operations to ensure that product development processes run smoothly and efficiently. By coordinating initiatives across product, engineering, and business functions, they help optimize workflows, improve execution, and ensure that teams are aligned with key objectives and delivering high-impact results. Strong communication, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of product lifecycles are essential to thrive in this position.
How You'll Spend Your Time Here
Program & Project Management
- Drive cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
- Own program timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage product lifecycle activities and process improvements.
Product Operations
- Optimize product development processes (e.g., roadmapping, launch readiness).
- Implement best practices for data tracking, release management, and feedback loops.
- Facilitate alignment between product, engineering, design, and business units.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with product leaders to define strategic priorities.
- Track KPIs and OKRs, and ensure teams are aligned with goals.
- Support go-to-market strategies and product release planning.
Data & Insights
- Work with analytics teams to gather product usage and business impact data.
- Help translate insights into actionable recommendations for product teams.
Tooling & Infrastructure
- Evaluate and implement tools that improve workflows (e.g., Jira, Asana, Product board, others).
- Manage knowledge management systems and process documentation.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
- BS degree in business, engineering, analytics, or other technical discipline
- MBA preferred
- 8+ years in product management SaaS organization
- Strong ability to communicate written and with powerpoint
- Ability to use data analytics tools to drive outcomes (Tableau and PowerBI)
- Ability to drive work independently, identifying solutions, moving them to implementation
- Familiarity with product management processes and tools
- Strong presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
