Renesas Electronics India is looking for a Financial Accountant to manage company’s financial, accounting & tax transactions.

Accountant responsibilities include providing support on auditing financial documents, procedures, statutory payment, handing vendor payment, staff expense reimbursement, reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments and returns as per local GAAP/Indian Accounting Standards.

Ultimately, Candidate will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage/Review all accounting transactions for all the branches in India.
• Publish financial statements in time.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (GST & Corporate TAX)
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Provide necessary support to Statutory & Tax Auditors
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations Internal and External.
• Posting on Journal entries, Goods & Service Tax & Withholding tax calculations using SAP system along with the team.
• To keep books and systems up to date.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Understanding of company Budget, Forecast and tracking with actuals.

Job Requirements and skills

• Work experience in Accounting & Tax domain.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP, ERP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions.

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Flexible in maintaining tight work deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in accounting (BCom/BBA), Finance or relevant degree with 6+ years of work experience
