Staff Accountant

As an experienced accountant, you will be responsible for various tasks including data entry from bank statements into QuickBooks, coding client's transactions to correct general ledger accounts, and reconciling clients" bank accounts monthly. Additionally, you will be required to conduct a monthly audit of the general ledger to ensure accurate coding, reconcile general ledger reports, and assist in the preparation of financial statements such as the income statement and balance sheet. Your proficiency in QuickBooks, both desktop and online, will be essential for this role. Moreover, you should be a self-starter who can work independently with little supervision. Confidentiality is key in this position as you will be dealing with sensitive information. Your proactive nature and willingness to work in the Night Shift will be highly valued. You will also be expected to create reports using Microsoft Excel and update the CPA on outstanding issues with clients" accounts.
