Sr.SAP FICO Consultant

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI modules including:
• General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL)
• Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
• Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
• Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
• Bank Accounting (FI-BL)
• Special Purpose Ledger and Travel Management (optional)
• Expertise in configuring SAP FI system settings such as chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
• Mastery of financial transaction processing including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
• Proficient with SAP transaction codes related to FI such as FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, FBL5N.
• Experience with integration of SAP FI with other modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and CO (Controlling).
• Knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics, including generating financial statements and audit reports.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.
• Understanding of SAP financial closing processes including month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Familiarity with SAP data migration tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs used in FI data transfers.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements such as IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws relevant to FI configuration.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance features as FI evolves on the HANA platform.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 financial support focused on manufacturing.
• Expertise in production costing, material ledger, product costing, and internal orders in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SAP best practices and frameworks applicable to manufacturing finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience with SAP certification, Fiori, and SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
• This role is suited for seasoned SAP FICO professionals with robust manufacturing domain expertise and technical experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, capable of driving financial transformation in manufacturing enterprises
