Role Summary

Planning, Installation, Commissioning, Stabilization of Utility, Process, Packing machines, Capex, Opex, Manpower design, Smart factory, Digital features, Vendor finalization, BOQ Finalization, Consultant finalization, design finalization, design review, Capex estimation for green field operations.


Role and Responsibilities-

  • Spearheading entire factory engineering & maintenance (Mechanical, electrical and instrumentation), Project, HSE, legal compliance and TPM-related operations.
  • Raising capital proposal for plant/ equipment modification / Expansion, new machine procurement, and executing the same. Implementation of bigger Capacity enhancement and new product-related projects.
  • Managing overall budgeting for routine repairs / specified repairs and capital proposals (CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Developing company policies and standard operating procedures for all maintenance work
  • Overseeing the maintenance of utility (refrigeration plant, cold room, hot water generator, HVAC, ETP, WTP electrical substations etc.) and manufacturing equipment, ensuring the plant equipment reliability and implementing preventive maintenance.
  • Accountable for, Planning and implementation of the factory project for capacity expansion, manpower productivity improvement, energy saving & other projects, quality and SHE improvement, etc.
  • Controlling spare part inventory, monitoring and controlling of maintenance cost by developing local vendors, corrective maintenance, TBM, etc.
  • Implementation of Total projective Maintenance (TPM) activity as per guidelines like Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance activities etc. (like TBM, CBM, Kaizens, lubrication management, engineering cost management etc), engineering cost management, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with the legal, safety, and environmental statutory guidelines.
  • Deftly facilitating OHS & EC risk assessment, Emergency Preparedness, Contractors Safety Management, Critical
  • Equipment Inspections, etc. as well as skill improvement of the people through training, OJT training.
  • Providing direction, motivation & training to the team to ensure optimum performance, design & implementation of a performance management system for all the team members as well as creating and sustaining a dynamic environment.
  • To work in coordination with stakeholders like Product & Packaging Development, Marketing, Planning, Purchase, Manufacturing, Supplier, etc for project implementation for new projects, innovation capacity planning etc starting from conceptualizing / Capex raising till execution.
  • Implementation of Innovations Projects for the category starting from Idea generation, Feasibility study, detailed engineering, capex raising, implementation, and roll-out
  • Cost-saving Projects (Value Improvement) for the unit starting from idea generation till the implementation stage.
  • Responsible for creating Zero Harm, Zero Defect, Zero Breakdown, zero non-compliance, zero loss mindset culture at site through effective deployment of Safety, Quality, and maintenance standards.
  • OEE improvement by improving Equipment Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability through continued in Breakdown, MTBF improvement & MTTR reduction. Plant A ranking equipment Breakdown less t against last year. saving the spare cost
  • Owning Breakdown Process & Continuously focusing on Breakdown reduction.PM team supporting AM team for Minor stop & operational loss reduction. Focus on Design (weakness) changes & loss recovery through process correction.
  • Breakdown work process owner of the whole Plant. Reduction of Breakdown against a target, through Condition-based maintenance for critical equipment in TPM, Robust RCA of all breakdowns, and Local spares development by material analysis. Preventive maintenance compliance increases equipment reliability. Capability building of team for in-house repair.
  • Maintain the quality standards i.e. FSMS, GMP and HACCP& other quality requirements as per company defined norms.
  • Maintain guidelines for Plant Hygiene, Cleanliness & Sanitation Practices. Strive towards Continual improvement (or) refinement for Quality Standards / Practices.

Academic and Professional Qualification


1)     UG-Preferably B.Tech./B.E. - Mechanical / Electrical with 12-15 years of experience in functional level

2)     Dairy Industry preferably of Ice-cream manufacturing Experience , having Project handling  experience will be added advantage


Preference- Candidates from Hyderabad/Telangana would be preferred.

Notice period -Candidates with notice period of not more than 30 days would be preferred.
