About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer with extensive experience in building and optimizing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Angular, Java, and modern UI/UX design practices, coupled with strong leadership skills to guide projects and mentor junior developers. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business goals into innovative, scalable, and user-focused digital solutions.

• Technical Leadership
• Lead the design and development of user-centric applications across web and mobile platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for front-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Java-based backend systems.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks.
• UI/UX Excellence
• Drive the creation of cutting-edge, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Conduct advanced user research, A/B testing, and usability analysis to validate design decisions.
• Oversee the evolution of the design system and ensure brand consistency across platforms.
• Collaboration & Mentorship
• Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business strategy.
• Mentor junior developers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for UI/UX excellence and represent the user voice in strategic discussions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX development for large-scale web and mobile applications.
• Expert proficiency in Angular (2+), Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Strong track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade, scalable applications.
• Deep knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping frameworks.
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions, optimize application performance, and solve complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices integration.
• Familiarity with progressive web apps (PWAs), mobile-first design, and advanced UI testing frameworks.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in UI/UX — publications, talks, or community contributions are a plus.
