Job Purpose

Develop and finalize budget and monitor actual performance on key KPIs and support business by providing actionable insights to team to deliver long term sustainable & profitable growth
To develop and implement systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and accurate reporting financial information on a regular basis. To have an understanding of the business and prepare a rolling forecast to estimate the future performance of division. To create a robust MIS infrastructure to support decision making process.

Accountabilities

I. P&L Forecasting/ Budgeting
¢ Lead annual/quarterly forecasting/budgeting activity for business with help of marketing, sales, commercial, cluster finance & manufacturing team Portfolio of appx INR 6000 Crs¢ Responsible for annual budgeting and monthly review of 6 clusters and 21 subdivisions¢ Collaboration with cross functional teams SFE, Digital, HR to estimated spends accurately¢ Understand all the variable of the P&L and forecast on a monthly basis to minimise the forecasting bias. To forecast all elements of the P&L at the most granular level possibleII. P&L Reporting
¢ Responsible for P&L management of business. Preparation of Monthly P&L report, analysis of actuals vs budget & highlight variances for all the elements of P&L for MOR reporting on various business parameters majorly(a) Revenue (b) COGS (incl Fixed cost) (c) Marketing spends (d) Distribution Cost (e) Other costs¢ Review every element of P&L, report variance analysis Vs budget and LY, discuss the variance with clusters and frame action plan against the adverse variance.¢ Review spends of cross functional team and ensure no abnormal hike unless in extra ordinary circumstance¢ Variance analysis with all CFMs of 21 divisions for any spike/shortfall highlighting alarming areas and tracking performance¢ Provisioning of expense/sales as per standard accounting policies¢ Responsible for P&L management and share analytics for achieving targeted GC and MC¢ Review performance of ILD deals where Cipla has taken marketing rights of other companies and ensuring NRV realisation¢ Ensuring reconciliation with statutory account and supporting audit requirement.¢ SPOC for collaboration with Global team such costing, SCM, central FP&A, audit, tax etc for various requirements.¢ Ensure on time in full reporting to all stake holders including the central FP&A team.¢ To hold stakeholders accountable for performance management.III. Business Insights for decision making
¢ Assist in formulating Strategic Growth plan share business information & insights to drive growth and improve profitability¢ Monitor & discuss with CFM / Therapies details on - LBE, MOR, division flash, and marketing spends¢ Support LBE management basis previous facts and upcoming scenarios¢ Propose tail rationalization to trim down unprofitable SKUs in discussion with clusters and costing team & ensure complexity reduction¢ Management of inventory worth ~INR1300 crs highlighting near expiry stock and non-moving to avoid losses and plan liquidation.¢ Drive Performance Management of the Cluster along with the CFMIV. Business Analytics & MIS
¢ To analyse all key drivers of business and provide actionable insights through exception reporting.¢ To develop a robust information management system and provide all the MISs and key information to assist decision making process.V. Simplification
¢ Aiming automation of reports to the extent possible to reduce dependency on manual work¢ Synchronization of reporting from system driven data rather than manual working¢ To continuously thrive towards providing actionable insights through Big data analyticsVI. Team Management
¢ Responsible for delivery of 4 off role employees, defining their KRA, guiding their work, reviewing and ensuring no error free reporting¢ Developing these employees by imparting regular training and guidance on system, excel and logics

Education Qualification

Chartered Accountant/ MBA from premier institution.

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Analytical and data analysis skills, decision making skills and attention to details as well as proposing creative solutions.
