Senior Technical Recruiter (Cybersecurity)We operate in the IT talent acquisition and cybersecurity hiring sector, partnering with enterprise and high-growth technology organisations to source frontline and leadership security talent. The role is embedded in a fast-paced, on-site recruitment team based in Bandra, Mumbai, delivering full-cycle hiring for technical and security engineering functions across India.Role & Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for cybersecurity & IT roles (sourcing ➜ screening ➜ interviewing ➜ offer ➜ onboarding) with a strong focus on quality and time-to-fill.
- Proactively source and map passive talent for roles such as Application Security, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, SOC Analysts, Threat Intelligence, Security Engineers, and Security Leadership using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X‑ray, and referrals.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and technical leads to define role requirements, create compelling job briefs, and design interview loops and evaluation criteria.
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end: screen technical fit, coordinate technical interviews, provide timely feedback, and negotiate offers to closure.
- Maintain accurate ATS records, produce recruitment metrics and market insights (pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness) and recommend process improvements.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines, run targeted outreach campaigns, and support employer-branding initiatives for cybersecurity hiring.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4+ years experience in IT/technical recruitment with at least 2 years focused on cybersecurity or infosec hiring.
- Proven track record placing mid-to-senior technical security roles (AppSec, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, SOC, Threat Intel).
- Expert sourcing skills: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, GitHub/StackOverflow sourcing a plus.
- Hands-on experience with ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Taleo, iCIMS) and recruitment workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management, excellent written and verbal communication, and demonstrable negotiation/closing skills.
- Ability to work onsite from Bandra, Mumbai and manage high-volume requisitions while preserving quality.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting for leadership-level security roles (Head of Security, CISO hires) or in an RPO/agency environment.
- Technical understanding of security tools and concepts (SIEM, EDR, cloud security, container security, IAM).
- Recruiter certifications or formal training (LinkedIn Recruiter certification, TA courses) and exposure to diversity hiring programs.
