Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software testing team and contribute to building high-quality software through advanced automation, API testing, and performance engineering. This role focuses on designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, executing functional and non-functional tests, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams in an Agile environment. Knowledge of eCommerce domain is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber/TestNG.
Develop and maintain UI, API, and mobile automation using Selenium, Playwright, and Appium.
Implement API testing strategies using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, ensuring robust validation for microservices and integrations.
Execute performance testing using JMeter, Lighthouse, and similar tools; analyze results and provide optimization recommendations.
Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps (ADO).
Ensure traceability by linking test cases and results with JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Conduct accessibility testing using tools like axe-core, Level Access, or similar to ensure WCAG compliance.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Follow Agile methodology and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skillsets:
Technical Expertise
Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, API Automation, Appium, Selenium Grid, Maven, Git, and Katalon Tool.
Proven experience in automation framework development.
Expertise in API testing (REST Assured, Postman/Newman) and performance testing using JMeter and Lighthouse.
Integration experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Accessibility Testing using tools like axe-core, Level Access, or similar for WCAG compliance.
Knowledge of eCommerce domain testing.
Methodologies
Strong understanding of Agile practices and testing methodologies.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
Agentic AI & Intelligent Testing:
Exposure to AI-driven testing workflows for scenario generation and autonomous execution.
Familiarity with LLM/RAG-assisted test authoring and Gherkin scenario automation.
Experience in desktop application automation and advanced accessibility testing.
