We are looking for a Manager/Senior Manager of Meeting & Event Operations to help support events program. This strategic position requires the ability to work on several projects at one time and be data driven & results-oriented. The candidate must be a detailed oriented person with strong time management skills, forward-thinking, and able to creatively solve problems in a constantly changing environment. This person must apply sound judgment in strategy meetings with management when dealing with new initiatives, budget discussions, and company events roadmaps. This position will partner closely with marketing and sales to ensure every event is handled professionally with flawless execution. In addition, a successful candidate will have experience negotiating with internal and external groups, ability to propose new and creative ideas, highly effective communication skills, and ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
• Collaborate with the Team’s Director to execute a strategic corporate event strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead and report on key strategic projects related to major company initiatives, events, and goals.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee project timelines, ensuring all tasks are successfully completed.
• Provide strategic analysis for event projections, road mapping, and ROI evaluation across the region.
• Manage 5–8 Tier 1 events end-to-end, delivering flawless execution and making it experiential events.
• Manage a team of five, ensuring bandwidth alignment, KPI tracking, and overall team efficiency.
• Work closely with regional and product-focused marketing teams to deliver reports, updates, and data insights to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure noticeable cost savings while adhering to strict budgetary constraints.
• Track and report financial benefits, ensuring events deliver maximum ROI.
• Identify opportunities for team efficiency, streamline workflows, and implement process automation.
• Explore and secure sponsorship opportunities for events to offset costs.
• Present updates, strategic plans, and performance analysis to senior leadership, showcasing proactive communication and data-driven insights.
• 10–15 years of experience in event planning, marketing, and team/people management.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership to present strategies and deliver insights.
• Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and ROI measurement.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating vendor contracts to secure cost savings and manage budgets effectively.
• Advanced expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with event tech and management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
