Currently, it is expanding in a big way in the Solar Power space undertaking ground-mounted and rooftop projects ranging from 5 KWp to 500 MWp. Educational Qualification :Chartered Accountant (CA) ● Additional qualifications like CFA, CPA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) will be an advantage.
CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification● 3–7 years of experience in taxation and accounting, preferably in a mid-to-large organization● Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and accounting standards● Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel● In-depth knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing, and related compliance.● Expertise in managing audits, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Key Deliverables :Taxation & Statutory Compliance
● Ensure timely and accurate filing of Income Tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory filings.● Manage tax audits, assessments, and litigations with tax authorities.● Monitor changes in tax laws, evaluate their impact, and ensure organizational compliance. ● Oversee TDS compliance including deduction, reconciliation, and filing of quarterly returns.● Support preparation of transfer pricing documentation and reporting requirements.● Liaise with external consultants, advisors, and auditors for tax-related matters.● Assist in devising and implementing tax planning strategies to optimize liabilities.● Maintain documentation and statutory records for internal and external auditsAccounting Operations & Controls
● Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across functions (General Ledger, AR, AP,Payroll, etc.).Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and internal accounting policies.● Monitor accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.● Supervise banking operations, fund flow management, and cash flow reporting.● Implement internal controls and ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data.Audit & Reporting● Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth and timely audit closure.● Review financial reports and provide management with accurate MIS, including variance analysis.● Ensure timely preparation of P&L statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. Team Leadership & Coordination● Provide guidance and technical support to junior staff on tax and compliance matters.● Train and mentor, the accounts team, enhancing knowledge on taxation, reporting, and compliance.● Collaborate with stakeholders from other departments (Projects, SCM, HR, Legal, etc.) to align finance with organizational goals.
