Sr Manager- Chartered Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished and proactive Chartered Accountant with 10–12 years of experience to take ownership of our accounting, finance, compliance, and taxation functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity , regulatory adherence , and operational excellence , while managing a high-performing finance team. This role demands deep subject-matter expertise , leadership capability , and a process-driven mindset to lead client accounting engagements and internal finance initiatives Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closures. Lead timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS standards. Manage and deliver client accounting services across diverse sectors and ensure quality deliverables. Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings , and all other statutory and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits , liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies. Establish and implement strong internal control frameworks and financial governance practices. Lead tax planning, computation, return filing , and handle assessments and queries. Drive the budgeting process, forecasting cycles, and deliver comprehensive variance analysis and MIS reports. Proactively identify and manage financial risks and ensure adherence to company financial policies. Champion process improvements and automation across finance operations. Mentor, train, and grow a capable and efficient finance and accounting team. Provide financial insights to support senior management in strategic decision-making. Key Skills and Competencies:- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance frameworks . Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Strong analytical thinking, financial acumen, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and commitment to timelines. Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment . Preferred Background:- Experience in client accounting , financial services , or consulting firms . Proven track record of managing multi-entity, multi-location financial operations.
