Sr. Lead Engineer Process CBM ( 82018414 )

Job Responsibilities :

Job Accountabilities (duties And Responsibilities).

• Review and approval of overall Process design activities for field development project.
• Carryout in-house concept level process design and facility development work for expansion and brownfield modification in existing plants as well as greenfield development work for new fields.
• Supervision, review and approval of process engineering deliverables through Concept, FEED and Detailed engineering phases of the Project.
• Assist O&M in commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of production operations. Assist in preparation of SOPs, O&M manuals.
• Carry out production simulation work to optimize operations.
• Lead special studies like HAZOP, Risk Assessment, HAZIDs, SIL, RAM, Fire Risk assessment, Blast study, EIAs, Corrosion inhibitor selection etc.
• Carry out pipeline hydraulic simulations and perform other process calculations to develop P&IDs, data sheets, C&E charts etc. associated with all in-house works.
• Prepare scope of work for engineering studies, evaluate bids.
• Visit Consultant’s offices for supervision of engineering activities.Visit Vendor shops for reviews.Visit Site during construction as well as operation phases of the project.
• Carry out inter-disciplinary coordination to close process design interfaces with other internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentoring and supervision of Senior and Junior Process Engineers
  

Skills Required (Knowledge And Skills)

• Conversant with simulation software such as Hysys, Pipesim,OLGA, Flaresim etc.
• Should have good knowledge of applicable API, ASME, OISD Codes and Standards
• Should be a good team player with ownership mindset
  

Qualification:

• BE/B Tech in Chemical Engineering from reputed engineering institute
  

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Engineering Consultancy and /or Operating company in Oil and Gas Industries of which minimum 5 years in Lead Position
• Experience in design of various process packages, pipeline network optimization study, compressor configuration study, utility systems, etc.
• Capable of preparing conceptual stage process documents like HMBs, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations etc.
• Experience of review of various process documents like P&ID’s, data sheets, C&E, Control Philosophy’s etc prepared by Engineering Consultant and Vendors.
• Experience in conducting and/or participating in various studies like HAZOP, HAZID, SIL etc
• Experience in commissioning assistance will be an added advantage.
  

Education Requirement :
