Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.com Main Purpose: To ensure maximization of Electrical Assets Availability, Reliability and Integrity by effective implementation of business processes and procedures through effective monitoring of proactive maintenance programmes. To minimize outages with appropriate risk mitigation and trouble shooting; Continual Improvement of the Asset Management Strategies and optimizing the Maintenance Programs (PM, PdM, RCM and Minor/Major Overhauls) including effective application of various machinery condition monitoring tools & Development of Electrical SME’s, competency /skill development of RIL Engineers & the contractual workforce. Job Accountabilities: Provide expert guidance for trouble shooting, maintenance and testing of all the electrical equipment & protection systems. To organize, plan, budget and schedule activities within electrical department and ensure meeting all the operational targets, business objectives, strategic goals. Organize execution of all planned and unplanned activities for the electrical shift operations and maintenance within the approved budget and timelines. Lead in Reliability improvement, Review Maintenance Planning, LLF, Task List, HITRA , SMP’s, SOP’s ; Review /Participate in RCA process and MOC process Review vendor competencies ; Perform shortlisting of vendors ; Coordinate with P&C for finalization of Contracts in consultation with HoD Review work execution plans; Appraise contractors and vendors about the execution plan; schedule, quality standards and compliance with HSE related practices. Review technical proposals, Approve electrical systems / drawings for new equipment/projects; Validate job execution proposals and methodologies. Extend support and technical expertise for new and upcoming projects; Provide inputs for improvement in the design of future projects based on the lessons learnt; extend field support during tie-in with the existing facilities with expansion plans. Identification, implementing KPI/PSPI / Performance Management, Monitoring & Reporting. Review and advise change management Alarms & trips of Protective Systems. Ensure consistent implementation and execution of maintenance programmes across KGD6. Provide inputs for improvements in business processes, specifications and best practices. Implement effective Inventory management for spares optimization. Monitor insurance spares availability and usability. Organize effective & timely services support. Review and approve critical machine/components repair and inspection plans. Competency Assessment, Provide/facilitate competency/skill development of RIL Engineers & contractual workforce. Develop Subject Matter Experts in the various Electrical Systems. Drive, facilitate the implementation & application of OMS, build organizational capabilities in OMS , Safety & Operational Risk management to achieve consistently safe, compliant, reliable and competitive operations. Knowledge of Reliability principles/tools , SAP PM & Material Management Module, Electrical codes and standards, Knowledge of statutory requirements; Emergency preparedness; HSE standards Communication, Interpersonal, Decision Making and Team building, Leadership & team building skills, analytical ability, guiding & mentoring skills. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Hands on experience in electrical equipment trouble shooting, maintenance, condition monitoring, testing & commissioning. 15 – 20 years’ experience in Oil & Gas / E & P / high hazard major size industry in Oil & Gas / major size industry in a lead position.
