Sr. IT Executive

Job Purpose:

To ensure the smooth operation of hospital IT systems, including servers, networks, software (especially MedNet) . Responsible for maintaining data integrity, system security and user support in alignment with hospital protocols and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System & Software Management

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and ensure uninterrupted functioning of hospital IT infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain MedNet Hospital Information System (HIS) including user creation, access rights, troubleshooting and training.
• Coordinate with software vendors for updates, customization and issue resolution.
• Monitor and maintain database backups, server performance and network connectivity.

2. Network & Hardware Maintenance

• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, printers and biometric systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of desktops, laptops and other hospital IT equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and AMC of IT hardware and peripherals.

3. Data Security & Compliance

• Ensure regular data backup and restore procedures as per hospital policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of hospital and patient data as per NABH 6th Edition standards.
• Implement and monitor antivirus and firewall protections.
• Maintain audit trails and access logs of all HIS and IT systems.

4. User Support & Training

• Provide technical support to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Conduct user training on MedNet and other hospital applications.
• Ensure prompt response and resolution of IT helpdesk tickets.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with vendors for software/hardware procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Maintain IT inventory, asset tagging, and documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports on IT system performance, downtime, and incidents.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to NABH documentation related to IT systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospital IT department.
• Hands-on experience with MedNet HIS software, NABH is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, SQL databases and system administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
